Please call us at 905-884-1832 PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL so we can advise whether we have a veterinarian on site to help you and your pet. Failure to call ahead may lead to delayed care for your pet as you may be diverted to another facility at the time of your arrival.

We have a team of over 20 dedicated and experienced professionals who strive to maintain up-to date medical and surgical protocols through ongoing internal and external continuing education.

This allows the team to provide a higher standard of patient care from the time of admission to discharge and the imminent post-operative period.

Our Hospital Director, Dr. Burke, comes to VRHVEC with a decade of experience ranging from hospital ownership and clinical development to advanced medical case management and soft tissue surgery both in general and emergency settings in Canada and the United Kingdom. Our goal is to narrow the gap between primary and specialist veterinary hospitals, both surgically and medically.

NOTE: We do not offer routine services such as vaccinations, spays, neuters or dentistry. We are also not yet equipped with blood products/transfusion capabilities, orthopedic surgery, endoscopy, or intensive care facilities (including ongoing care for critical cases).
